Transferring The Title Deed

If you decide to buy a house in Istanbul, and you have found your dream home. In the continuation of the next purchasing process, the title deed in Turkey transfer process comes, which is an important document to prove that you are the rightful owner of the property.

After buying a property, signing the sales contracts, and completing the necessary payments, all documents are completed for the title deed transfer and an application is made to the land registry office. After the land registry office has examined the all documents, it makes an appointment for the title deed transfer and invites the parties (Buyer/Seller). If you do not give a Power of Attorney for the title deed transfer, you must be present at the land registry office for signature on the specified day. The buyer and seller must present at the land registry office at the specified time, sign the necessary documents in the presence of a sworn translator and the title deed transfer takes place.

The documents required to be provided to the land registry office for title deed transfer;

- Photocopy of a valid passport

- Tax identification number

- Property Valuation Report

- Current market value of property to be obtained from the municipality to which the real estate is affiliated

- Identity card or valid passport of the seller
